November 9
7-9:30 pm in Parker Hall
Remember hula-hooping as a child? You would shake and
shimmy while some beads inside the tiny hoop made
noise, and it would fall helplessly to the ground in
just a few seconds? From that point forward, you may
have said that you just can’t hula-hoop.
Well, remove can’t from your vocabulary and put
on your hooping clothes! Join us for a Girl’s Night
Out you don’t want to miss where Sunny, the Hoop Gal
of href="http://www.hooprama.com/"target="_blank">Hooprama,
will turn us each into hoop superstars with a few hoop
tips, hoop tricks, hoop games and LOTS of laughter.
The hoops she uses are bigger, heavier and easier to
rotate around your body. This means that anyone can
learn!
Hooping is good for the body—a great workout for your
waist AND a nice gentle massage from the hoop circling
your waist. More importantly, it’s good for the soul
(you may remember happy, laughing hoopers at this
year’s All-Church Retreat).
Sign up for the Nov. 9 GNO Hoop Night no later than
Friday, Oct. 26. Bring $15 for an evening of hooping in Parker Hall.
Wear comfortable clothing, don’t eat within one hour
of GNO, and be prepared to smile. Sunny will bring
hoops for you to use. You can also come prepared to
order your own hoop from her if you decide you want to
hoop at home.
