What: Come join your guy friends at Belmont UMC for a boys’ weekend at the farm. It will be a time for bonding, learning, resting and growing further in our understanding of what it means to be in life-giving relationships with God, others and care for yourself.

Your friends are always invited to share in whatever we offer at Belmont UMC. Invite a friend, have their parents contact me to learn more about the retreat and prepare yourself for a great weekend on the farm.

Cost: Free!

Trey Wince

Trey is currently serving as the College Director on the Youth Ministry staff at First Presbyterian Church. A graduate of Baylor University, he is currently enrolled in the Center for Youth Training (http://www.cymt.org/) based of an extension ministry of Brentwood UMC. Trey enjoys traveling, extreme sports (sports of all kinds really), a good laugh, being God’s hands and feet in the world, good movies, a Fido conversation, throwing fun potluck gatherings in his home and meeting young people where they are with love, grace and genuine appreciation for all young people offer the world.

Friday

6 pm Leave from Belmont UMC (bring snack supper)
8 pm Arrive at the Farm & settle
9:30 pm Welcome and Chill Time
10:30 pm Evening Devotions
11:30 pm Lights Out

Saturday
8 am Breakfast
9 am Session 1 "Me"
10:15 am Snack & Stretch Break
10:45 am Session 2 "We"
Noon Lunch & Re-Creation Time (Time for play, rest, study and enjoying the farm)
5 pm Session 4 "So What!?" continued
6:30 pm Supper & Community Time
10 pm Evening Devotions
11:30 pm Lights Out

Sunday morning
7 am Breakfast
8 am Departure from the Farm

What to bring:

Bible
Sleeping bag & Pillow
Toiletries
Snacks to share with the group
Water Bottle
Music, books, games, school work, PG or PG-13 movies, and art supplies
Comfortable clothes for the weekend and clothes for worship on Sunday. We will have you back in time to sing in worship.

Mobile phones do not work well on the farm, so do yourself a favor and leave your phones at home for the weekend. If you bring your phone and it works, please do not text or hold phone conversation during the sessions.
