in Hillsboro Village with a 1.4 mile route to the Islamic Center of Nashville,

2515 12^th Avenue South

Transportation can be provided for walkers back to origin point as needed or individuals who want to participate but cannot walk.

This walk is conceived as a simple act and will take place in silence as we stand peacefully in support of one another as neighbors in community. Walkers are asked not to engage if opposition is encountered along the way and not to bring banners, posters or other symbols of demonstration. Our silence is our strongest message of unity. This walk is focused on neighbors in the community around the Islamic Center of Nashville but is open to all.

We ask that communication of this interfaith walk be distributed individually to those that you know. We suggest that invitations be made in person, by phone or direct email or messaging. To maintain the integrity of this event, please do not distribute or speak to media, post flyers in public places or post the message broadly (i.e. Facebook wall post or twitter).
