Pilgrimage Reflection from Kate T.

This trip was really fun and I learned a lot. I really enjoyed the Civil Rights Museum, because I learned a lot about the movement and about how much courage it took to take part in the movement.

On Sunday we attended Holy Community Church and it was a different style of worship for me, but I liked it.

We met a lady who has been protesting outside of the museum for 23 years, because she things the museum should be used for housing, because Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., wanted to make the future better. She made me realize that past, present and future all matter.

I learned a lot on this trip and hope to use my knowledge of the past to help the future.
