Opportunity to Serve

Thanksgiving Mobile Food Pantry –
On Monday, November 19, we will be hosting a Mobile Food Pantry for Brighter Days families, the Slow Pokes and the rest of the neighborhood. 9,000 lbs. of food will be available here at the church, making it possible for families to select items to generously fill a food box at no cost. This is particularly important this year since for the first time the children will be out of school the entire week of Thanksgiving. You are invited to participate by helping to unload the truck, set up the groceries, and assist our friends and neighbors in their selections.

It takes place Monday, November 19, and a great opportunity for those who are not in school. There will be two shifts-one from 8:30 am to Noon and another from Noon to 2:00 pm. What a great expression of thanksgiving and agape.
