Sr. High Sleep Retreat, April 3-5

Retreat for 9-12th graders where we sleep, fellowship, pray, enjoy many of God’s created things, sleep, play, are renewed…Sabbath!

Sabbath: Time set apart for rest and worship. Time set apart for re-creation. The practice of Sabbath is an essential spiritual discipline due, and at its best is an opportunity for prayer, play and celebration.

“It is an experience of rest in the midst of work, contemplation in the midst of action and receptivity in the midst of giving and serving. In a culture that affirms activity and busyness, the gift of Sabbath is both a challenge to our lifestyles and a means of God’s saving grace in our lives.” (The Upper Room Dictionary of Christian Spiritual Formation)
