Why is Sunday morning in still one of the most segregated times of the week?

We offer two classes, a Sr. High class (9th-12th grade) and Jr. High class (7th-8th). This is a time for learning more about what we believe as followers of Christ and ways we can grow in faith & love of God through Scripture reflection, activities and conversations with peers.

5:30-7:15 pm
A time for table fellowship, connecting with God & peers, learning more about what it means to follow Christ, enjoying life together through games & special experiences and learning of ways we can live out of faith in ways that bears witness to the peace, justice and love of God in our local, national and global community.

Segregated?? What do ya mean?

Well...
In this particular context it means separating from others or from a main body or group based on economics and/or race. Today policy/law does not force segregation, however we still seem to seperate ourselves into groups that unconsciously or consciously do always include people who are different than we are.
Why do you think this happens?
Why do you think this happens in most churches?
What does it mean that we can still label churches based on race ("________ Church")?
What are your thoughts???
